Our Story
Estate Direct grew out of years spent running Junk Direct, a Calgary junk removal company.
Over time, a pattern became clear: many of the calls weren't really about junk at all. They were from adult children clearing out a parent's home, executors trying to settle an estate, or families quietly working through decades of belongings during one of the hardest chapters of their lives.
That pattern became personal. A member of our own team went through exactly this kind of experience — the overwhelm of facing a loved one's home, the endless decisions about what to keep and what to let go of, and how much it helped to have someone steady and capable handling the physical side of it. That experience is what turned Estate Direct from an idea into a dedicated service.
We built Estate Direct specifically for these moments — not as a side offering, but as its own company, with a process designed around the fact that a home isn't just furniture and boxes. It's decades of memory, and often the last physical connection to someone or something important. We handle the physical work with efficiency, while treating what's inside every home, and every family, with the respect it deserves.
